Ordering

How do I place an order?

Enter your ZIP code, choose how many gallons you want or select Fill Up, add your delivery address and contact info, and submit. The whole process takes about a minute. A real Prestige Oil team member calls within a few hours to confirm your order before dispatch.

What's the minimum order?

100 gallons. This applies to every delivery, residential or commercial.

I don't know how many gallons I need.

Pick Fill Up at checkout and we'll bill you for actual gallons delivered at your locked-in price. If you'd rather estimate, a typical home tank is 275 gallons, and most orders fall between 150 and 250 gallons depending on how empty your tank is.

Do I need an account?

No. Every order is one-time. We do not auto-fill, we do not require contracts, and we do not store payment info between orders unless you ask us to.

Is email required?

No. We use your phone number to confirm orders. Email is optional and only used to send a delivery receipt if you provide it.

Delivery

How fast will my oil be delivered?

Most deliveries happen within 1 to 3 business days of your confirmed order. Call (914) 483-6860 to check availability.

What if I'm out of oil?

Call us at (914) 483-6860 right away. We'll do our best to fit you into the next available route.

Do I need to be home?

No. As long as your fill cap is accessible and we have access to your driveway or yard, we can deliver while you're out. Leave any access notes in the order form.

What if my tank holds less than I ordered?

We bill for actual gallons delivered, not gallons ordered. If your tank fills before reaching your order amount, you only pay for what went in.

Is the price I see locked in?

Yes. The per-gallon rate at the moment you submit your order is the rate you pay, even if our market price moves before your delivery date. No callback price changes.

How do I pay?

Cash, check, or Zelle to (914) 483-6860 on delivery. Card payment is available at checkout for orders placed online.

Do you charge sales tax?

No. New York State exempts residential home heating oil from sales tax. Commercial accounts may have different tax treatment based on use.

Where do you deliver?

25 ZIP codes across Putnam County and Northern Westchester County, NY. The full list is on our Service Area page. If you're not sure, enter your ZIP at checkout and we'll confirm.

Why isn't my town on the list?

We focus on towns within reliable delivery range of our Brewster yard. If your town is just outside our area, call us and we'll tell you whether we can serve you.

Prestige Oil Inc. is a locally owned, family-operated heating oil delivery company based in Brewster, NY. When you call, you talk to us directly.

What are your hours?

Monday through Saturday, 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM. For urgent or no-heat situations outside business hours, call (914) 483-6860 and leave a message — we check messages frequently during heating season.
